I just came across a bunch of photos I took years ago of some interesting cars sitting in an empty lot behind a warehouse.
That place is long gone now - been turned into a McDonald’s and a hotel. I wonder what happened to those cars.

I have a very strange want for this van.

I think it’s an Invel Volkswagen. I’ve no idea how it ended up in Europe.

I’m the one who took and sent in the photos that later got published on that blog. You can see my nickname mentioned on the bottom of the page.

Interesting old van.....looks really familiar, but I can’t place it!

FIAT 1100 I believe! :)

I hope many of these were rescued....a lot of them looked to be in decent shape!

Yup! A Millecento! Good eye!

Fiat 1100 series is the closest match I’ve found, but the nose isn’t quite right.

Polish is about the most intimidating looking language that uses the Roman alphabet. See how they have to write things like “Fiatów”, “Volkswagenów” and “Karmann Ghii”.
To say nothing of “byo wyjtkowo duo gigantycznych wity”.

Thought so! They would make a fun “weekend” classic I think....the estate version of the Millecento can be found in decent shape for surprisingly affordable prices. :)

That was my guess as well....an older FIAT or Alfa Romeo van. Maybe it is a Polish-built van of some sort...?
